SIMPLY THE WARMEST, HIGHEST QUALITY, AND MOST COMFORTABLE WINTER INSULATION THIS OLD BIRD HUNTER HAS EVER WORN. WHAT A PRODUCT. WHAT A VALUE. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
I purchased a pair of duofold wool/cotton pants. I love them. I work night shift outside. I have tried many different brands and types. I love the Duofold pants. They are so warm. I will be purchasing more in the future. Including a shirt. Thanks
I purchased a duofold two button henley with the outer layer consisting of 50% cotton, 40% wool and 10% nylon and the inner layer consisting of 100% cotton from Ebbets Field Flannels in 1992 and I still wear it almost weekly.
The seams have held up so well that it looks as if I purchased it much more recently. I do not even know what style number it is as it was purchased 15 years ago. I have only lost one button from the placket, but it is definitely one of my favorite shirts and am very happy to have discovered your web site!!
I have used this for skiing, camping, and skydiving and am very pleased with the fit, comfort of wear, and durability of this product. I do wish that a 3/4 sleeve style was available that I could wear for skydiving and work becouse it would provide more safety.
During my career in the US Army Infantry I spent alot of time living outside in the cold. The early issue winter underwear was cotton/wool blend. Later on mid-weight polyproplyene gear was issued.
No matter what the official issue was I had light-weight polyproplyene as a base layer, and after trying other brands, I found Duofold to be the best in durability, construction and material.
To this day I use Duofold's 210A style of polyproplyene as it has proven itself to be a quality product at a good price.
My husband was getting dressed for a mtn. bike ride and walked in to show me his duo-fold long underwear top that he has been wearing as a base layer bi-weekly for the last 13 years, 4 of those years, almost daily in the winter (snowboarding). The layers are just now beginning to separate along the collar. I told him I would see if we could get any more products like it. I was so surprised and happy to find your website on the first try! I can't believe something is so well made in this day and age. Thanks for the Excellence.

There 13 of these tees in my closet. I use them for running, biking, lifting. As a base layer you cant beat them. They dont wear out. Keep their shape and dont shrink. I have used them for years. Nothing fancy just great stuff. I get a kick out of seeing Armor shirts for 30 or 40 dollars. The price is right on these and they do the job. Only problem they last so long . Its hard to justify buying more. Thirteen in the closet is about all my wife will allow.
I have used the 400 series (cotton/wool) of Duofold products since 1977. An avid hunting friend of mine first showed me this product while hunting dove, ducks, pheasant and quail in the Oklahoma panhandle (often a cold, wet and windy environment in the fall & winter). A few years later I moved to Colorado where these products worked extremely well for snow-skiing, hunting, fishing and attending foot ball games. The DU Buffalos in Boulder, the Airforce Academy in Co. Springs and the Denver Broncos play in outdoor stadiums. Many times the weather has gone from sunny to snowy, with the temperature dropping 30-50 degrees. The lighter weight Duofold for spring/fall and the heavier weight for winter allows for effective layering regardless of any situation one might encounter. Nothing, repeat NOTHING, keeps one as warm as wool. PARTICULARLY if you get damp through weather or activity. Many times, I have been wet with sweat, and the Duofold still kept me warm. I can't say this about any synthetics, or goose down, which I have used and tried over the years.
Thanks Duofold for continuing to make these outstanding products. If you ever decide to stop making the cotton/wool duofold, please give the public adequate advance warning so we may stock up.
After having been protected/pampered with 100% in/ 25-40% out for over 50 yrs. (and I might add, in N. Wisc. and Baxter St. Park, Maine) little more needs to be said regarding my failure to freeze to death - as well I could have, often.... A person desirous of natural fabrics is ergonomically fulfilled, all comfy-cozy and well aware that for many years to come these SAME garments will secure those requirements very handily! Oh, how sublime it is to count on (without disappointment) a basic life necessity and ever be fulfilled in top-drawer "fashion"! Thanks for allowing us to count on something not easily found these days - a pleasure doing business with Duofold! S E Sorensen
